Cheer has 3 squads, each with a limit of 25 participants:

The date cheerleading will start is August 8th 10am - 12pm for Skills Jamboree and Meet the Squad.

Practices will start Monday August 10th 5:30pm. Practice will be every Monday and Thursday evening until games officially begin. Practice will then move to Monday evenings.

SSYS Summer Baseball Camp (Summer 2026)

Sandy Springs Youth Sports (SSYS) Summer Baseball Camp at Morgan Falls Athletic Complex is a fun, safe, and affordable camp designed to help players grow their skills and confidence. Campers will work on hitting, throwing, catching, fielding, base running, and game situations through age appropriate drills, competitions, and scrimmages led by SSYS coaches and staff. Our goal is to create a positive camp experience focused on fundamentals, teamwork, sportsmanship, and having fun. Camp runs from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Players should bring a snack and their own water bottle each day, along with a hat, glove, and bat (if they have it).

All of our leagues are recreational, with an instructional focus while providing opportunities for all skill levels.

$175.00 - Rookie League (6U): Birth dates between: 9/1/2019 - 8/31/2021

The Rookie League for our 6u players is an instructional 4-6 year old league that introduces proper techniques for fielding, throwing, catching and hitting a softball, all while having a lot of fun. The Rookie League is coach pitch with a tee if needed.

The Minor League for our 8u players is an instructional and developmental 7-8 year old league that follows ASA rules with local modification for recreational play. The Minor League introduces and reinforces softball fundamentals of fielding, throwing, catching, hitting and base running. The Minor League is coach pitch.

$275.00 - Major League (10U): Birth dates between: 9/1/2015 - 8/31/2017

The Major League for our 10u players provides an instructional and developmental 9-10 year old league that follows ASA rules with local modification for recreational play. The Major League introduces and reinforces more advanced rules such as pitching, stealing and defensive control of the ball. The Major League is kid pitch with coach rescue. 

$275.00 - Junior League (12U): Birth dates between: 9/1/2013 - 8/31/2015

The Junior League for our 12u players provides an instructional, developmental and more competitive 11-12 year old league that follows ASA rules with local modification for recreational play. The Junior League is kid pitch only.

Registration fees include dri-fit softball jersey, pants, belt and matching socks. Additional equipment required: batting helmet; (with face mask and chin strap); mitt/glove; bat; softball safety fielder’s mask. Cleats are optional but encouraged.

Sandy Springs is affiliated with Braves Country Baseball. All of our leagues are recreational, with an instructional focus while providing opportunities for all skill levels.

Fall baseball is a great opportunity to have clinics for the players to learn baseball, hone their skills and enjoy time with friends. For fall baseball, we host clinics and have games starting in September. The Baseball leadership will group the players to maximize enjoyment and instruction. We typically will see groupings in the following manner:

Our 6U (ages 4, 5 & 6) program is designed as a low-key introduction to baseball for players. As in all of our instructional leagues, the emphasis is always on fun, skill development, and teaching players the fundamentals of the game. A major goal of the program is to ensure that players have a great experience and want to continue playing baseball. The practice portion will include station rotations to teach the fundamentals of baseball in a fun way with lots of movement and variety. The game format will start out at Tee-Ball and can advance with individual players into coach toss as needed. The practice and game typically take place on Saturdays 10-11:30 am. 

Our 8u (ages 7&8) program is designed to continue teaching fundamentals and allow players to spend time in clinics to prepare for competition and games.

Our 9u (age 9) program will be designed on teaching pitching as well as other fundamentals.

Our 12u (ages 10, 11 & 12) program will continue the fundamentals as well as include games each week, pending holidays, starting in September.
