The SSYS Cheer program partners with our Flag and Advanced Flag teams in the fall to create the ultimate football experience.

Our cheer squads consist of grades kindergarten through 8th grade (K-1st, 2nd-4th, and 5th-8th [14 years old]).

Practice:
Squads practice on Mondays and Thursdays(5:30-6:30pm for K-4th; 5:30-7pm for 5th-8th) with games on Thursday or Sunday, depending on age. Practice will be held on Thursdays at the same time until the first game starts.

The program will teach cheer, dance and stunting in the upper grades. All skill levels are welcomed!

August 8th - Skills Jamboree and Meet the squad (all ages)
August 10th - Practices begin 5:30pm
Early September - Kickoff Tailgate and Games begin
Mid November - Senior night honoring our 8th Graders
Mid November - Championship Night

Consistent with the SSYS mission, our cheer program is committed to coaching proper fundamentals and fostering competitive playing opportunities for all skill levels, so that each child may grow in his or her abilities and knowledge of the sport while enjoying a high-energy, safe, and supportive environment.

Registration Listing

2026 Fall Cheer

Cheer has 3 squads, each with a limit of 25 participants:

K-1st grade
2nd-4th grade
5th-8th grade (14 years old)

The date cheerleading will start is August 8th 10am - 12pm for Skills Jamboree and Meet the Squad.

Practices will start Monday August 10th 5:30pm. Practice will be every Monday and Thursday evening until games officially begin. Practice will then move to Monday evenings.

Practice times

K to first - 5:30pm to 6:30pm

2nd to 4th- 5:30pm to 6:30pm

5th to 8th - 5:30pm to 7pm

Registration Fee

We have a registration fee per participant to cover our registration costs. This is a mandatory, non-refundable fee, and applies to all participants, including those requesting a scholarship. Thanks for your understanding.
